My name is Becky Chen and I found passion through my love for food and the people around me.
My first computer graphic class in high school opened up my doors to a world where I could share myself with others through technology. I began by designing applications for a mock restaurant, creating flyers that advocated for reduction of food waste, and photographing all the food I created and ate. I was lucky enough to find a major at James Madison University that allowed me to fit my passion within the projects I created as well as put my media design abilities into a PR position that helps grow my service with reducing food waste and ending hunger. I found myself through all the wonderful people that have encouraged me and pushed me to work towards what I felt passion for here at JMU. My years in university have taught me to become an independent person who is ready to take on new challenges that life has in store for me! |
